For the last few weeks, I've been working on a massive site redesign from the ground up. Gone shall be the days of missing or broken templates! Design version 5.0 "Vibe" brings with it many changes, most notably:
- XHTML 1.0
Finally, UnSS makes the switch. The site is now XHTML 1.0 markup rather than HTML 4. As for validity, I'll be spending a lot of time with FileZilla and validator.w3 until I get the green 
- CSS3
Rather than bulky <div> masses for rounded corners, UnSS now uses CSS3 rounded edges. This, however, means users with browsers other than Firefox/Safari/Chrome will get sharp corners instead. The design still looks pretty snazzy like that though 
- Better CSS
phpBB2's subSilver theme (which 3.0 Shade and 4.0 Tetra were based off of) is pretty cluttered with CSS. Vibe uses significantly less CSS for a simpler but much nicer theme
- A new header
No more dull links for a navbar! The new navbar sports some fancy rollover 
The search bar looks like an actual search bar too!
The design isn't finished yet though. I plan on completely overhauling posting and PMs and will be tweaking various other aspects of the design. So, stay tuned for future updates!
