Do "!" and "?" have any use other than in strings?

? doesn't do anything I'm a where of, but ! does. For example, 5! is equivalent to 1*2*3*4*5, so 5! = 120

IIRC, "?" is an extraneous symbol in the programming/calculating sense. I believe that the only reason it's there, is because the TI-OS itself uses it:
:Input A yields ?
:Prompt A yields A=?

"?" is probably just too useful a character to NOT be available, but AFAIK that's its only function.
"!" is the factorial function.
